Ubisoft, coming off a very successful showing at PAX Prime in Seattle, released a new video for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that features a whopping 10 minutes of gameplay footage, showing the various activities you can take part in.
These activities are vast and a lot of fun. The first includes fighting for access to a local tavern, where you can get drunk and, as director Ashraf Ismail points out, enjoy some fun surprises.
In addition, you’ll take part in some under-sea diving, where you can seek out treasure chests while avoiding man-eating sharks. From there, you’ll sneak into a smuggler’s cove and take down enemies using only your fists.
The video also includes a huge sea battle, where you’ll fight with a rival ship and eventually overtake the vessel. The footage concludes with a first look at harpooning, where you try to put a shark in its place using a limited amount of ammunition.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on October 29th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, and later in the year for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
