During Gamescom Opening Night Live the dragon-riding competitive multiplayer shooter Century: Age of Ashes was shown. You might remember this game from its trailer at The Game Awards last you, or perhaps you took part in the playtests the game ran over the last few months.
Century: Age of Ashes Receives Release Date At Gamescom Opening Night Live
Century was originally set to launch last April, but the team at Playwing decided to delay the game to work on and address player feedback. After this delay, the team has finally shared that Century: Age of Ashes will launch on November 18, 2021. You can catch the new trailer if you missed it below.
Century has added quite a few new features to the game since folks last got a chance to check it out. The biggest new feature Playwing is teasing today si that baby dragons are headed to Century. We’re not entirely sure in what concept these will be added, but we have an image of them and they are very cute.
Alongside the two game modes players already know about, Century has a third game mode codenamed “Spoils of War” that will release alongside the other two does at launch. No more information on this game type was given, but we know that a new map will be dedicated to this mode.
Century: Age of Ashes was a great time when we previewed earlier this year, and we’re excited to see more of the game closer to launch. For now, check out the trailer and keep your eyes peeled for my information soon.
