Days Gone PC Release Date Confirmed

Days Gone will be available on PC for the first time on May 18. The game will be available across a variety of retailers including Steam and the Epic Games Store.

You can pre-purchase Days Gone right now for $49.99 (USD) and for those who are wondering whether the game is worth buying on PC, the PlayStation Blog goes into detail about the things you can expect from the PC version.

For example, Days Gone on PC will have 21:9 ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates, and improved graphics. You can also use 1st and 3rd party controllers if you prefer to play games like Days Gone with a controller as opposed to mouse and keyboard (which are likewise supported).

“Take on the relentless Old Sawmill horde with 21:9 ultra-wide monitor support. Come across various enemies in this harsh open world including humans, wildlife and feral creatures known as Freakers, with unlocked framerate. Fighting hordes that range up to 500 Freakers at one time has never felt so real,” notes the PlayStation Blog.

“Traverse the vast Farewell Wilderness with our new display customization options that include increased level of detail, foliage draw distances and graphical customization. Play Days Gone the way you want to play. Use 1st and 3rd party controllers, or ride the Broken Road with input support for mouse and keyboard.”

With things like Photo Mode, gamers can look forward to a new super resolution Photo Mode for Days Gone on PC as well. Again, Days Gone will be available on PC starting May 18.
