For anyone that has followed my work on other sites like ComicBook.com, you know that I am absolutely obsessed with fan projects. Fallout and The Elder Scrolls both have inspired incredible mod overhauls and one of the latest ones that have sprouted up through the years is the impressive Fallout Miami. Though the entire project is not available yet, parts of it are now live for PC players to beta test, though it’s important to remember that the mod as-is is definitely not the final project.
“This early version of Fallout Miami is the first worldspace I made when I started this project, and that’s why I must emphasize that it won’t be present in the final version of the Fallout Miami and is not associated with the current project,” said the mod’s creator over on Nexus Mods. “In agreement with the Fallout Miami Development Team, we all decided to move some stuff from this worldspace to a new one that will be more optimized, have better LOD and PipBoy map. That means that final version of the Fallout Miami will look different then this one, where most stuff I made is on my own, when the team counted only a few members…”
The mod itself is a completely new world for Fallout 4 where players can take that nuclear fun in the sun to a whole new level with new enemies, a new narrative, and a new struggle for power between the Order and Freedom.
The downloadable version now is without NPCs and enemies and is completely devoid of quests, but all of that will slowly be filtered in as performance tests continue. Basically, the purpose of the early release is for fans to see the area, see all of the new locations, while continuously building upon that.
You can download Fallout Miami right here for free on PC, but make sure that you have Fallout 4 and all of the game’s official DLCs. If not, the mod won’t work properly. Enjoy!
