Orange Justice is just one of the newest dance moves added into Fortnite’s Battle Royale game, and the whacky and wild moves stemmed from an entry into Fortnite’s “BoogieDown” contest, which was held last month. While the dance may look silly, there’s actually a story behind it all, and here’s what you need to know about Orange Justice and how the Orange Shirt Kid made his mark on Fortnite.
Where did Orange Justice Come From?
The move, which looks similar to moves we’ve seen from King Vader and Roy Purdy, was originally submitted by a user called Orange Shirt Kid and didn’t make it into the winning group of the BoogieDown contest. Outraged, fans of the dance took to the internet and created a petition to get Epic to add the dance to the game.

Despite not winning, fans rallied around the dance and pushed for Epic to add it in, calling for Justice for Orange Shirt Kid. The rally cry took on, and now, with the launch of Fortnite Season 4, players can find the dance in the game listed as Orange Justice.
It’s really cool to see something like this come about, and players can expect to unlock the dance for free, just by playing Fortnite during Season 4. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out what’s new in Fortnite’s Season 4 Battle Pass, and make sure you don’t miss out on how to find all the FORTNITE letters hidden around the map right now. Don’t forget to pick up the treasure marked on the Fortnite Tomato Town treasure map as well.
