Free To Play Arena Shooter Tom Clancy’s XDefiant Announced
This 6v6 arena shooter features different Tom Clancy game characters from across the different franchises. In the trailer, you’ll spot some familiar names like the Wolves from Ghost Recon Breakpoint as a playable faction.
Each class comes with different abilities similar to other team-based shooters in the space. You’ll have your healing class, support, high DPS, and tank classes to choose from. All of which can be swapped when you respawn in a match.
You can check out the trailer below and you can sign up for the first test of the game right here.
The game will have ten maps at launch and feature a few different game modes featuring Team Deathmatch as well as objective-based modes.
The team also said it plans to bring new maps and modes at a regular clip to the game over time.
XDefiant is an entirely free-to-play game being developed by the Ubisoft San Francisco team.
