Today, Warner Bros. Interactive announced a new contest called the Hitman: Sniper Assassin Competition, which challenges players to put their sniper skills to the test by competing against other agents to earn the top score across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The grand-prize winner will get to be immortalized in the upcoming Hitman 2 game.
Starting today, players can enter the competition by pre-ordering Hitman 2 and downloading the new standalone mode called Sniper Assassin, which is available as a free pre-order bonus for Hitman 2. After registering for an IOI account, players must then play the Sniper Assassin solo mode as Agent 47 to take part in the Sniper Assassin Competition.
Players can compete in the Sniper Assassin mode and improve their marksman skills from now until November 6, at which point the top scorers on each platform (Xbox One, PS4, and PC) will be crowned as winners. Those who take home the grand prize will get to have their name and likeness included in future Hitman 2 content.
Hitman 2 is scheduled to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13, 2018 and is the sequel to the Hitman game from 2016. For a full list of competition rules, visit the official Hitman website for details.
