Immortals Fenyx Rising Receives Crossover Trailer With Adventure Time

Magic Man you're a jerk.

Ubisoft revealed a brand new trailer for its upcoming game Immortals Fenyx Rising. You’ll quickly notice this trailer is vastly different from everything you’ve seen from the game up until this point, well, because it’s a crossover with Adventure Time.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Receives Crossover Trailer With Adventure Time

You can view the trailer below, which is done in the art style of Adventure Time. At the very least, it’s a fun crossover trailer and showcases a fun little crossover between the two universes.

Ubisoft is no stranger to having its games crossover with Adventure Time. Last year, we saw Finn and Jake’s reveal in Brawlhalla at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference. However, this trailer doesn’t state or show any sort of in-game crossover.

It could very well just be a fun trailer showing the characters interact to help market the game to a new audience. At the time of writing this, no further elaboration has been given if this has any implications for in-game, but it would be interesting to see how the Adventure Time universe could come into play in Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Here’s the official description for Immortals Fenyx Rising.

“Immortals Fenyx Rising is a fresh and witty take on the open world action adventure genre, featuring dynamic action, combat and stories inspired by Greek mythology. Roam freely across a beautifully stylized world and use extraordinary abilities gifted by the gods against fearsome mythological monsters. Treacherous trials, heroic feats and the very underworld itself await your bravery.”

If you find yourself still asking, “what is Immortals Fenyx Rising,” you might know it as Gods & Monsters, which is what it was originally revealed. Just earlier this year, Ubisoft rebranded the game as Immortals Fenyx Rising.
