Immortals Fenyx Rising Will Have Three Massive Post-Launch DLC Expansions

A brand new trailer for Immortals Fenyx Rising released today that goes through Ubisoft’s post-launch plans for the game. As part of the game’s Season Pass, Immortals Fenyx Rising will offer three unique DLC expansions for players to enjoy.

To better explain the concepts behind each of these DLC expansions, we’ve include all of their official summaries below with text courtesy of Ubisoft.

DLC Expansion #1 – A New God

“Fenyx will embark on a new adventure set in Olympos Palace, home of the gods. This journey will require Fenyx to overcome the Trial of the Olympians, immersing players in beautifully crafted and challenging vaults built by the gods, in order to join the Inner Circle of the Pantheon.”

DLC Expansion #2 – Myths of the Eastern Realm

“Set in Chinese Mythology, the game’s second episode will introduce a new hero, Ku, who sets out on a journey to save mortals in a new mystical land at the frontier of the Sky and Earth. Players will need to master Ku’s unique fighting style and abilities, inspired by Chinese martial arts, to defeat new enemies and monsters from Chinese mythology.”

DLC Expansion #3 – The Lost Gods

“The third and final episode will feature top-down gameplay, all-new brawler combat and a new hero, Ash, chosen by Fenyx to bring back the lost gods. The episode will take place on a new mysterious island where players will explore regions inspired by these lost gods, to restore balance on Earth.”

All of the DLC expansions announced today sound like they’ll be extremely fun to play. We’re particularly interested in the second DLC expansion, Myths of the Eastern Realm, that lets players play a new hero named Ku. It sounds like it’ll feel distinctly different from the main game as well as the other two DLC expansions.

Other things included in the post-launch plans with the Season Pass include a bonus quest called When the Roads Get Rocky that’ll be available the day of the game’s release, new heroes, new environments, fresh gameplay, and more.

The post-launch plan also notes there will be free in-game events, weekly dungeon challenges, and daily quests. If you want to ensure you get access to all of the game’s post-launch content, you can purchase the Season Pass on its own for $39.99 or purchase the Gold Edition of Immortals Fenyx Rising as this version includes the Season Pass along with the base game.

The Gold Edition also includes Hades the Shadowmaster Character Pack, Orion’s Blessed Weapons Pack, and Prism Wings. If you know you want the base game and the Season Pass, it’s worth buying it bundled together with the Gold Edition, especially considering you get that additional content as well.

In addition to post-launch content, Ubisoft made another announcement noting that Google Stadia players will have the opportunity to demo Immortals: Fenyx Rising for free starting today. If you have Google Stadia and want to get a feel for the game ahead of its release, you can read more about the free demo opportunity over on the game’s official website.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is scheduled to release on December 3 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC (Epic Games), Ubisoft Connect, and Google Stadia. Stay tuned, as we’ll have more coverage about Immortals Fenyx Rising in the near future!
