Latest Fortnite Map Changes Include Moisty Palms and Greasy Grove

Two Rift Zones have added Moisty Palms and Greasy Grove to the Fortnite map.

Wednesday, September 11th saw the v10.30 update take place for Fortnite Battle Royale, and it provided a variety of changes for the high-profile game. Two of the most significant changes that were made to Fortnite in the v10.30 update were the additions of two new locations on the battle royale title’s map. These two new Rift Zone locations go by the name of Moisty Palms and Greasy Grove and are providing some new gameplay options for players.

Moisty Palms is the combination of Moisty Mires and Paradise Palms. The significant gameplay change that players will experience when battling in this new Rift Zone is that you will turn into a prop every time you crouch. This transformation allows players to set up some cunning ambushes whenever they are duking it out in Moisty Mire.

Greasy Grove has made its official return to the map of Fortnite. However, it is different from its previous iteration thanks to Greasy Grove returning by way of a Rift Zone. Now, Durr Burger is no longer the main restaurant of the location. A taco establishment has replaced it. Players can now find spicy tacos laying on the ground that will grant them 10 Effective Health (sum of a player’s Health + Shield) and a 40% increase in movement speed for 20 seconds. Players will also notice that tacos will rain down from the sky periodically in Greasy Grove. During this raining of tacos, players will see their characters automatically dance. Players will be invulnerable to damage during this time and will be granted 20 health points every second.
