EA has made some big announcements in recent weeks in preparation for the release of FC 24. Most recently, EA dropped the official announcement trailer for the game and there was much to digest. Most noticeable was the date for the Gameplay trailer, which happens on Thursday, July 13.
In this write-up, I’ll be discussing a few of the other important things picked up in the announcement trailer. EA 24 is probably the most anticipated sports game of them all, so getting a positive reaction will be key to many sales. This release for EA probably presents even more pressure as they step into the new era of EA Sports FC and shoot for a win. Adding to the pressure is the arrival of new rivals in the football simulation world, such as UFL and GOALS.
What We Discovered From the FC 24 Official Trailer
We discovered many new features in the official announcement trailer for EA Sports FC 24. We will be discussing what we think will be added to some of the game modes, what legends were spotted in the Ultimate Edition Cover Artwork, platforms, and more.
Let’s dive deep.
Players & Managers Dressing Room Talks & Interviews
First and foremost, let’s talk about the managers’ and players’ talks in the dressing rooms. This looks like a certain addition to the game, involving the manager more in Career Mode and other story-driven modes. As you can see, the manager is talking team tactics to his players while one of the players is rallying the troops for one last push!
The other big reveal was the player interviews and the behind-the-scenes feel. As you can see, Alexis Mac Allister, who recently joined the Reds, is holding up his new Liverpool colors in a press conference. Sam Kerr is followed walking the tunnels beneath the stadium, interacting with other players, while Vinicius Jr. is getting interviewed by the press.
This could suggest that there will be plenty more immersive experiences to come with FC 24. It could also show that we get to look forward to new cutscenes before, during, and after games.

Questions arising from this now are: Will these players have extra attributes if you buy the Ultimate Edition, or will they be included in your first packs? Are they even special characters for FC 24?
EA Sports FC 24 Platforms & Duel Entitlement
On the FC 24 Ultimate Edition cover, the Duel Entitlement logo is found in the bottom left corner. This tells us that the game will be made available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

It’s also no surprise that Duel Entitlement has been included, as they’ve made it available for Madden NFL 24 as well. The football game with the hands is being released ahead of FC 24.
Hypermotion V
Hypermotion has been around since FIFA 22, and now FC 24 will use Hypermotion V technology. After the gameplay trailer, there will be more to add on how well Hypermotion V will work this season and if it does in fact improve the playing experience 11v11.
For me, I’m always excited to see what can be added to our favorite sports video games year after year. With the change in titles, I must admit I’m quite excited about the EA Sports FC 24 game coming soon. What was missing from the official trailer was the official release date. Hopefully, we’ll get one soon. For more on EA Sports FC, you can read: How Much Will EA Sports FC Be Paying the EPL? – Answered
