Mortal Kombat 11: New Kitana Trailer Shows Off Her Punishing Fatality Against D’Vorah

Kitana and D'Vorah go head-to-head in the latest Mortal Kombat 11 trailer.

NetherRealm Studios confirmed Kitana’s return with a TV Spot for Mortal Kombat 11 earlier in the week, though the brief cinematic look hardly gave a detailed impression on how she would be in-game. Thankfully, a new trailer has arrived showing off her moves in a fight against D’Vorah, including a very cut throat Fatality.

The return of Kitana as a playable character is exciting enough, but seeing her moves in the latest Mortal Kombat is even better. Though maybe not quite as brutal as other Fatalities seen in the fighting game, it’s definitely her unique style that shows off that dangerous control she has over her weaponry and her enemy.

For those that may be be new (or need a refresher) on Kitana from the Mortal Kombat universe, she is the princess of Edenia and the daughter of Queen Sindel in addition to the adoptive daughter of the evil Emperor Shao Kahn. Before joining the “good side,” she was an elite assassin that served under her father apart from her evil twin Mileena.

Though we don’t have any confirmation of Mileena still, the arrival of her twin Kitana bodes well for her possible addition. Since the latest narrative is all about timeline shifts and changing history, those characters we think are dead might not stay that way for long.

As for the game itself, Mortal Kombat 11 drops on April 23rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Excited to see the impressive new storyline that basically changes everything we know about Mortal Kombat? Sound off with your thoughts by hitting us up over on Twitter @PrimaGames!
