BioWare is gifting rewards over at the PlayStation Store previously only available as bonuses for completing past events Operation Goliath and Raptor.

Until the weekend of April 27th, multiplayer events had previously been exclusive treats for Xbox 360 and PC players, with Operation Exorcist marking the first foray into the occasions for PS3 gamers.

BioWare will dish out rewards to players if the collective efforts of this weekend’s Operation Silencer manage to put an end to 3,000,000 banshees. There’ll be extra packs for those who manage to bag a full extraction on gold difficulty.

The BioWare blog hints at the possibility of the vorcha as being the next playable race.

“This task is an onerous one,” the blog noted, “and many of you are right to dread contact with these particular foes, but rest assured that we are prepared to reinforce your battalion with reserves. The vorcha want in, and as soon as they complete combined-arms training with our technically-skilled personnel, we will let them loose.”

Once again BIoWare have provided an infographic detailing the latest multiplayer stats. 10.5 million successful missions have been completed and the new geth classes have proved popular with a presence in 11.8% of matches.
