Platinum Games is toiling away on a number of projects right now, including downloadable content for the brawler Anarchy Reigns, the forthcoming Metal Gear Rising Revengeance (which drops next month), and, most importantly, the long-awaited follow-up to Bayonetta, which was confirmed as a Wii U exclusive through Nintendo last year.

Today we managed to get a hold of a new developmental trailer for the game, featuring the team in action as they were putting touches on the design. The sequel is set to feature even more epic boss fights than ever before, as well as new environments and plenty of visual touches – including more realistic leather. Yes, please.
Though no direct game footage was available, things are definitely shaping up for this sequel, and it’s likely to make some sort of appearance this summer at E3. We’ll have a preview for you soon, but in the meantime, you can enjoy the footage for yourself here.
