New Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Trailer Reveals Hestu

Hestu just vibing.

This morning Nintendo released another trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. We get another glimpse at some of the playable characters, such as Link, Zelda, Revali, Mipha, and Young Impa.

It’s always nice to see another look at Mipha and Revali, who haven’t been heavily showcased like Urbosa and the other cast have been. Hopefully, the next trailer shines a brighter light on those two.

However, the new trailer, which can be seen below, has a familiar face. Hestu, you may remember him from Breath of the Wild, is in Age of Calamity. This large Korok with maracas was a fan favorite in Breath of the Wild, so it’s nice to see him hang out with the gang.

Early speculation is that Hestu will give you more inventory slots in Age of Calamity for finding hidden Korok’s just as you did in the previous game. Or maybe he’s a playable character?

It would be awesome to Hestu kick some butt, but we’re just happy he’s in the game. Shaking his maracas without a care in the world, just vibing.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity releases on November 20 for the Nintendo Switch. We’re excited to get our hands on the game in just a little over a month. It’s time to see what happened to Hyrule 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild.

Of course, Breath of the Wild is still on the horizon, so hopefully, we will get some more information on that project soon. Until then, though, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will have to hold us over.

If you’re still wondering what to expect from this game, you can read the official description below

“Join the struggle that brought Hyrule to its knees. Learn more about Zelda, the four Champions, the King of Hyrule, and more through dramatic cutscenes as they try to save the kingdom from Calamity. The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity game is the only way to see firsthand what happened 100 years ago.”
