Now that Nioh 2 is in alpha, the playtesting has begun. A lucky few have been given the chance to try out the Nioh sequel early and to celebrate, Team Ninja has shared a brand new trailer showing off some killer gameplay for the closed alpha period.
Though the video has since been ‘delisted’, the dates for the closed alpha period are set for May 24th through June 2nd. The above video also shows off new demon transformations and even more samurai with some high-action footage of what actual gameplay will be like when the game inevitably launches.
The demon forms are exciting and to see their extent is pretty flippin’ cool when looking back at the initial teaser when the game was first announced.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have a release date at this time, but it’s nice to see progress being made on the PlayStation 4 exclusive.
