Nyko Introduces New Wii U Accessories at the Consumer Electronics Show

Sadly, no Party Station.

Nyko, not one to back down from showing off new technology at events, are hosting a suite here at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where they’re showing off their amazing new peripherals.  Among them are some sweet new accessories for the Wii U, ones that will make your gaming experience a little bit easier.

First off is the Pro Commander, Nyko’s take on the Pro Controller, where you’ll have an analog configuration similar to that of the Xbox 360 controller – a nice change of pace from having analog sticks together.  It’ll go for $34.99, a much cheaper price than the regular one.

They also introduced the UBoost, which will enable you to slip on batteries to your Wii U pad while being able to recharge them for later use.  The Charge Base pro will also allow you to charge up Pro Controllers, and place the system on a Power Stand.

However, the previously announced Party Station for the original Wii was nowhere to be seen.  We would’ve thought the company would bring it back in some form for Wii U.  Ah, well, maybe next year.

Look for all these accessories in 2013.
