After sitting in a dry spell for several weeks, the PlayStation Vita looks to be getting some love this coming Tuesday. Not only is a new foosball table coming out for the system (relax, it’s actually not bad), but Neko Entertainment will also be releasing its puzzle/strategy game Puddle to the system.
The developer has added some extra features to make the Vita version stand out over the previously released Puddle games, including an option to skip tougher levels (there are a bunch) and touch-interactive menus, as well as the ability to tilt several ways, with buttons, controller, or the rear touch pad.
“After we released the game on PS3, we worked hard to get a better handle on the game’s mechanics, so we’d be able to deliver a new version of Puddle on PS Vita,” said Neko’s QA Manager Sebastian Chipot, over on the PlayStation Blog. “We paid particular attention to feedback from PS3 players when working on the PS Vita version.”
Look for the physics-based puzzler to be fairly priced when it arrives.
