Infinity Ward and Activision announced that Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch its second DLC this April 3rd. Players on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will have first crack at this new content, featuring four new multiplayer maps and the second chapter in Extinction’s four-part episodic story. Season pass holders will also have access to the all-new Ripper, a tactical 2-in-1- weapon available today.
Maps include Ruins, located on a Mexican peninsula and set amidst the remnants of a Mayan temple high atop a mountain. Collision takes place beneath a crippled New York bridge and features ideal run-and-gun terrain. Behemoth includes both long-range engagements outside, while shotguns and submachine guns will be ideal for its buildings. Lastly, veterans of Modern Warfare 3 will recognize Unearthed, a re-make of Dome that now features a secret alien weapon accessed through Field Orders.
Devastation will also include the second chapter of the Extinction story. Episode 2: Mayday follows the events that took place in the Alaskan wilderness. The search for Captain Archer and Doctor Cross continues, this time pitting players against a 100-foot tall Cryptid enemy from the ocean depths called the Kraken.
Devastation will have a suggested retail price of $14.99, or players can snatch up the season pass with four DLC packs for $49.99.
