A recent Capcom listing reveals that Resident Evil Village will be arriving on iPhone 15 and other mobile devices in the near future.
Recently, Apple announced the new iPhone 15 model which caught the gaming world by surprise due to its capability of running high-profile game releases such as Resident Evil 4 Remake and Assassin’s Creed. This new model of iPhone is set to move the next generation of mobile gaming forward, with Apple even calling it the next video game console due to how well it can handle features such as ray tracing.
On September 25, 2023, it was revealed through a Capcom listing that Resident Evil Village, one of the company’s lauded entries in the fantastic survival horror franchise, would be released just in time for Halloween. The game will be released on October 30, and it will be playable on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air, and iPad Pro with the M1 chip or later.
The mobile edition of the game will also be released with the complementary Winters’ Expansion DLC. The DLC includes the Shadows of Rose additional content which further expands on the events of Resident Evil Village while explaining some of the questions regarding its ending and the titular character Rose Winters.
iPhone users will find the game supports mobile configurations and runs natively. RE: Village will come at a cost of $39.99 and the DLC expansion will cost another $19.99. Pre-orders for the game will include a special outfit for Rose if they are purchased during a window announced by Capcom at a later date.
Resident Evil Village was originally released May 7, 2021 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Resident Evil 4 Remake, another highly acclaimed entry in the franchise, just received its first DLC update called Separate Ways.
