Following the newest trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V and its launch planned for next year, Nintendo also shared that a Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster is also on the way at the same time for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 players.
During the most recent Nintendo Direct Mni, Nintendo shared a first look at the upcoming remaster of the 2003 PlayStation 2 hit. Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD remaster will be an HD overhaul to the game’s original experience, making it a more modernized way to experience a fan-favorite.
Since the Nintendo Direct Mini is focused on the hybrid platform from the Big N, the reveal didn’t pay much mind to the fact that PlayStation 4 players can get in on this action as well. In an email provided to Prima Games, it looks like the remaster will be making a PS4 debut as well, though that release date is set for October 29th. Western folks will need to wait a little bit longer because the remaster will be launching alongside Tensei V sometime in early 2021.
