Skyrim DLC Finally Slated for PlayStation 3 This February

At last, a reason for PS3 owners to go "FUS DO RAH!"

It’s been a long, harrowing road for owners of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PlayStation 3.  The game has more bugs than the Xbox 360 version, a hefty install (5.8 GB, and that’s before updates), and, unfortunately, no real access to the recently released DLC, with no plans to bring it forward.  That is, until Bethesda finally stepped forward and relieved their burden.

Bethesda, working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment of America, has announced that Dragonborn, the latest DLC for the game, will be arriving next month on the PlayStation Network, followed by Hearthfire and Dawnguard.  A 1.8 patch will also be released prior to Dragonborn, to address any further issues with the game.  In other good news, to kind of make amends for PS3 owners, all of this DLC will be offered at half price for the first week of its release – so jump on it fast.

Dragonborn will also be coming to PC/Steam on February 5th, if you prefer to take that route.
