The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to be a monumental success for Bethesda even though the publisher has moved on to work on The Elder Scrolls Online, set to release sometime next year. Still, that isn’t stopping them from supporting the game with downloadable content and the next batch could be coming sooner than you think.
According to a trademark filed by ZeniMax Media, a piece of content called “Hearth Fire” could be coming soon as it’s likely to be a reference to a skill book in Skyrim of the same name.
The book itself has the title “2920, Vol 09 – Hearth Fire” and in Skyrim it pushes your conjuration skill – it allows you to summon spectral assistance along with weaponry that can prove useful in the heat of combat. The possible Hearth Fire DLC could add to those abilities, letting you slay dragons with a little bit more ease.
We’ll try to see what Bethesda is up to next week at E3. In the meantime, you can look forward to one piece of downloadable content, Dawnguard, which is due to arrive for the game sometime this summer. Fus do rah, indeed!
