The upcoming update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a doozy and comes with a new map, character changes, and quite a few Quality of Life improvements that are absolutely necessary for creating a more enjoyable experience. It is also the highly anticipated inclusion of Rise of Skywalker updates.
Though we won’t see the Skywalker update this month, EA and DICE did confirm that the Rise of Skywalker that will tie-in with the film is set to arrive this December. With the last major update adding co-op to a game that has found its groove following a very tumultuous launch, it will be interesting to see exactly how the newest overhaul ties in with the film. Though the pay-to-win loot box backlash will never truly fall away, the studio responsible for this particular Star Wars experience has since made many moves to rectify their initial mistake.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. No release date yet for the next big update outside of the first week of December, but it’s good to know that nothing has been cut, the move of times was a simple shift of dates.
