The Sims 4’s Newest Stuff Pack Will Let You Cook up Fun as a Home Chef

The third episode of Behind The Sims aired today, and with it came an exciting announcement for every aspiring chef out there: The Sims 4 is getting a cooking Stuff Pack. The Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack is set to release on September 14, 2023, just two days after its Behind The Sims announcement.

Behind The Sims dives deep into what Home Chef Hustle will offer, describing it as providing “new ways of cooking, new ways to make money, new Build/Buy, new Create a Sim items and a plethora of kitchen accessories.” In other words, we’ll be able to turn our regular, simplistic kitchens into realistic and cluttered versions if we desire.

It also mentions adding “food themed accessories, jumpers and aprons for the whole family.” If your next Sim household has an aspiring chef or several food-loving characters, you may as well look the part!

The Behind the Sims livestream also showcased some of the dishes available with the new Stuff Pack, primarily focusing on waffle styles and a waffle maker. This may be the stream’s highlight if you’re a waffle fan.

Another stream highlight is a base game update that revamps the cooking UI, allowing us to filter recipes. Some of the features in the video included filtering by prepped and fresh ingredients, vegetarian and lactose-free, among others. Finding the perfect recipe for your Sims, especially those with vegetarian or lactose-intolerant traits, will be way easier from now onward.

Following the announcement of the Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack, the stream also dives into information regarding the next Sims game, Project Rene, and events in both The Sims FreePlay and The Sims Mobile.

Now that we have more ways to cook delicious meals, we can see how they compare to The Sims 4’s base game wedding cake or various expansion pack meals.
