Warcraft III: Reforged Gets a New Release Date

Warcraft III: Reforged is coming a little later than expected.

We’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Warcraft III: Reforged has been pushed back, which is no surprise given that it was supposed to come out this year and 2019 is rapidly coming to a close. The good news is that it’s still coming soon with a new release date set for next month.

The team over at Blizzard took to their official blog to officially announce the delay and the new release date set for January 28, 2020. “Though we’ve been working hard to get Reforged in your hands before the end of the year, as we started approaching the finish line, we felt we’d need a little extra development time for finishing touches,” reads the official statement. “As always, our goal is to honor the high standards you hold us to.”

While disappointing, it would be better to take a small delay and release a quality game rather than rush it out the door and have it be a broken mess at launch

It’s not too late to pre-order Warcraft III: Reforged, including the Spoils of War edition, which comes with exclusive skins, a special mount, and other goodies for various other Blizzard games:
