Wolfenstein 2 Gets First Episode of The Freedom Chronicles DLC

The first episode of Wolfenstein 2’s Freedom Chronicles DLC is now available.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus recently took home the award for Best Action Game at the 2017 Game Awards, and what an action-packed journey it can be. Now, though, Bethesda is looking to sweeten the deal even more with the release of The Freedom Chronicles first episode, The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe.

In Gunslinger Joe, players take on the role of former professional football player Joseph Stallion as he takes on legions of Nazis in a bid to exact his revenge on one of the German army’s many Uberkommandants. The DLC is the first episode in a three-part series called The Freedom Chronicles, which focuses on three different agents involved in fighting against Hitler’s massive army.

Players can pick up Gunslinger Joe right now on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, and they can do so by purchasing the Freedom Chronicles Season Pass for $24.99. If you’re interested in the DLC, be sure to check out the trailer we’ve embedded above, as it will provide a little backstory, as well as some action-packed gameplay detailing Gunslinger Joe’s Ram Shackles ability, which basically allows him to tackle into enemies and stun them.

The second episode of the Freedom Chronicles Season Pass will arrive on January 30, when players get the chance to return to the world of Wolfenstein as Jessica “Agent Silent Death” Valiant. Finally, the last piece of the DLC will be available in March of 2018, when players step into the shoes of Captain Wilkins in The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins. It’s going to be an exciting couple of months for Wolfenstein 2 fans, as the DLC will explore the world further, introducing new characters and enemies for players to overcome.
