Before working in an office setting, I was one of those types of folks who was content just sitting in a standard office chair whenever I needed to use my PC. Since I was only going to be seated for a short bit of time, I never realized what a good chair could do for my productivity, and as I got older, my back. While I’ve been rolling with a different brand for my office space at home, the Corsair TC200 has come to challenge the spot and may come away as the winner.

Surprisingly Stylish & Comfortable
I say this as someone who was using the Razer Iskur gaming chair: the Corsair looks fantastic. It doesn’t scream “GAMER” like a majority of the other chairs on the market, going instead with a more classy look that would look completely acceptable in an office space, as well as your game room. It’s a very clean design, offering a bit of flair while keeping it under wraps.
But style only gets you so far. The sheer number of chairs that I’ve sat in that looked fantastic but felt like you were seated on a few pieces of cardboard is immeasurable, which is why the TC200 surprised me from the moment I sat down on it. It’s surprisingly very comfortable, offering a decent amount of support on my lower back, as well as a great amount of support behind my knees.
Some nice little surprises were waiting for me, such as 4D Armrests, that can slide forward and backward, angle inward and outward, as well as adjust up and down. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how far back this chair can lean, with a full 180° range of motion, so I could take a quick moment to stretch out without even needing to get up out of my chair.
While I’m a bigger guy, this chair still fits me rather comfortably and snuggly. However, if you would like to ensure that you can fit on it, here are the official measurements of the TC200:

Feels As Lovely As It Looks
The additional touches added to this chair are also great, with rubber seals that block off the screw holes featuring the Corsair ship logo, and an included pillow that I wish I could sleep on. Seriously, the lumbar pillow that comes with the TC200 is incredibly comfortable to rest your neck on, and I need to know where I could get a full-sized option. However, it may be in a slightly cumbersome spot if you’re a taller individual, but thankfully it is a completely optional accessory.
While the TC200 has a frame that is made of Steel, you can’t feel it in the overall weight. When the box arrived, I was half expecting it to weigh as much as my Iskur but was pleasantly surprised to feel how light it was overall. Assembly was also surprisingly simple, with all the tools included to slap it together in about 10 minutes.
The TC200 also comes in a variety of finishes, with the particular model I have being the Fabric option. It’s breathable, so I never once got overwhelmingly warm while seated in this chair, and there are a variety of different colors available. The fabric feels nice, offers a bit of class in my office, and is rather fetching overall.
The Anti-Roll casters are also great, so I didn’t need to worry about accidentally pushing the chair too far out of the way if I needed to get under the desk for some cable management. While it does take a bit of time for them to fully break in when you’re seated, especially if you’ve got any sort of padding or protection under your wheels for carpeting, they work like a dream once this initial honeymoon phase has ended.
While Corsair does offer other chairs that have adjustable lumbar support for the lower back, and while I was personally happy with how it supported me, my wife was on the opposite side of the field. Much like myself, she loved the feeling of the neck pillow and would have loved to see a removable padding option for the lower back. If you’ve got some stiffness in your lower back, it may be recommended to use some additional cushioning with this particular chair.
If you’re in the market for a new gaming or office chair, the Corsair TC200 has your back both literally and figuratively. It looks and feels more premium than its mid-range price point makes it out to be and can help spruce up your office space in a matter of moments. Easy assembly and overall quality are far beyond what I expected and help propel this chair toward the top of the favorites I’ve ever used.
If you’d like to pick up a Corsair TC200 of your own, they’re available at Walmart and Amazon.
