The Resident Evil 4 Remake’s DLC, Separate Ways, has officially launched, reimagining the popular mode from the original game, with a variety of new features and gameplay elements, putting players in the shoes of Resident Evil’s femme fatale, Ada Wong. The impressive expansion pack manages to seamlessly incorporate most of the base game’s cast into the DLC, successfully resolving the unexplored plot threads in a satisfying conclusion. To recap, the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Separate Ways DLC brings back many familiar faces from the base game’s story mode. However, the two most notable differences are Separate Ways’ introduction of The Black Robe/Pesanta, Ramon Salazar’s hench-monster that was noticeably absent from Leon S. Kennedy’s story in the main game, as well as Martinico, a terrifying experiment gone awry, who is encountered late in Separate Ways.
