Every Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones
The Infamy Ranks in Skull and Bones are your player levels, and as you progress up the various tiers, you’ll unlock access to additional ships (with the appropriate blueprints), weapons, and quests. Sadly, it’s a way to gate off some of the best content.
But in total, there are 10 Infamy Ranks in the game, including:
- Outcast
- Scoundrel
- Rover
- Freeboater
- Buccaneer
- Brigand
- Marauder
- Corsair
- Cutthroat
- Kingpin
You will start as the lowly Outcast before inevitably taking over the high seas and forming your pirate network as a Kingpin.
What Do Infamy Ranks Unlock?
As for the various unlocks you’ll receive upon ranking up in Skull and Bones, you can expect to obtain:
- Ship Blueprints
- Equipment
- Cosmetics
- Silver
- Vendors
Furthermore, some quests in the game require you to be a specific player level, so additional content is always excellent.
How to Increase Your Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones
The best way to increase your Infamy in Skull and Bones is to tackle the main story of John Scurlock. The various primary quests he offers will reward you with plenty of Infamy and Silver, allowing you to level up relatively fast.
Outside the campaign, focus on tackling the bounties and missions on the two boards just down the dock in Sainte-Anne. It’s easy to miss either board, as they’re tucked underneath a bridge and shops, which you’ll likely focus on first. Access the board by walking up and hitting the interact button, then choose your task. They’re relatively easy. Many require you to sink a certain number of ships or plunder a settlement, and others want you to complete the same task but with a specific loadout.
While increasing your Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones, don’t forget to focus on stacking coins, as you’ll need currency like Sovereigns to excel in this world!
