From November 2, 2023, until January 18, 2024, pre-ordering The Sims 4’s For Rent expansion pack will reward you with the Peak Freshness Fruit Basket, Streetside Stars Shade, and Quick Treats Grill furniture items. Once the expansion pack releases on December 7, you’ll find the items in your build-buy menu, where you can place them on your lot to your heart’s content.

By purchasing The Sims 4: For Rent before January 18, you’ll unlock these three items in your in-game build menu, which you can buy with Simoleons and place down in your world. While the shade and fruit basket are decorative furniture items, your Sims can interact with and use the grill to cook food for others like you would with base-game cooking appliances.

While the For Rent expansion pack is already available for pre-order starting November 2, you won’t receive the pre-order bonus items until the pack’s release date on December 7. On this date, you’ll find the expansion pack’s new features and content alongside the pre-order bonus items. While you can still obtain the furniture items after this date, buying the expansion through the official store or your preferred platform’s shop before its launch date guarantees access.
