Those who dive into the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons will have the ability to run into villagers of all kinds who make up the game’s community. However, some of these types of villagers are rare when compared to other types, as there are not as many of them. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Rare Villagers
Now, players have an equal chance of encountering all of the unique characters that are in the game, so no one character is rarer than another. The rarity of the game’s characters come from how rare each type of character is when it comes to their species. An example of this is that there are only seven hippo characters compared to 15 horse characters, which means that meeting a hippo is rarer than meeting a horse based on numbers.

Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way for players to make any of these types of characters appear on their island. Players can only pray to the RNG gods that these types of rare villagers decide to come to visit or live on their island at some time.
