So, are there bots in Ring of Elysium? Well, let’s take a look at things.

Are There Bots in Ring of Elysium

Being that the game is in closed beta testing, and region locked to Thailand at this moment in time, it’s very possible that Ring of Elysium might have some bots in the game to help flesh out the matchmaking times. However, there isn’t any kind of official statement on the matter, so nobody knows for sure.

What has made people think that there are bots? Well, there have been more than one occasion where players have said that people they’ve been shooting at have run in a straight line away from them, instead of turning and firing back. There appears to be a lot of weird behavior coming from many players that people have reported shooting, but it’s still unclear whether this is just inexperienced players, desync because the servers are based in Thailand, or if the enemies are indeed bots.

Many players have speculated that there are bots, but only in the Solo game mode. From what many have said, the solo queue has bots in it to reduce load times due to how small the player base was originally intended to be. The developers have yet to confirm or deny this, so it’s still something that is up in the air.

What we can say, though, is that Ring of Elysium is a fun and frantic free-to-play battle royale game that has a lot of the same qualities that players have loved in previous battle royale games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Whether there are bots in it or not, really isn’t a big issue. The gunplay is solid, and the promise of new updates has many players excited about the future of the game.
