Whether you went to investigate the Blushing Mermaid, or you decided to help the Hag Survivors in the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to find another Hag in Act 3. There aren’t a lot of leads to work with, so locating the Hag in the sprawling city isn’t easy, but I have the exact location so you don’t waste any more time. Here’s how to find the Hag in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where to Find the Hag in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Hag in Act 3 is located in the basement of the Blushing Mermaid behind an illusory wall. You can find the Blushing Mermaid in the western half of the city, just south of Bloomridge Park. It’s hard to miss because the front of the bar is just a massive raised ship that looms over the pathways of civilians below.
Once you reach the inside of the Blushing Mermaid, you need to go up the stairs and look for the room to the right where Captain Grizly is pacing. If you go down the stairs in her room, you will find the basement that leads to the Hag. You can also use the Oak Door to the left of Bosun Gannet at the bar, but it’s not as subtle. Both doors will lead to the basement, but that’s just the start.
The first section of the basement is a small room with two entrances. In the center of the wall though, there is a raised platform with a few mushrooms growing. That’s the telltale sign of the Hag. You need to have your party members jump up to this platform with a standard action or a spell. Then you can simply direct them to walk through the wall on the left. Magic is clearly covering the area, and it’s an illusory spell that can easily be bypassed in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Search for the Hag in the Blushing Mermaid (BG3)
The Hag is at the end of the cave behind the illusory wall in the Blushing Mermaid basement. But you won’t find the creature until you take out the mind-controlled guards in the large cave following the illusory wall. Defeat the guards, including Captain Grizly if she appears, and search their corpses. One of them will have a door key.
Loot the key and head to the end of the cave where there is a wooden wall door. Unlock the door and you will find the main lair of the Hag. You will know it’s the right spot because there are three giant healing mushrooms in the area that need to be destroyed. Soon she will appear and you can take her down for good.
