Gran Turismo 7 has brought this famous “real driving simulator” back to the more fun days of the series’ past with a rich single-player career and campaign where the goal is to collect cars from many periods of automotive history. However, despite all that, in the new 2022 sequel, there are still a lot of Gran Turismo Sport’s elements such as races with BoP rules. Balance of Performance – or BoP – is a system that is implemented to achieve fair racing with cars that are reduced to similar performance. Competing cars need to be in the similar Performance Points range and to fall under the Gr.3 specifications. To find out which cars are best for this particular class, check out our suggestions below.

What are the Best Gr.3 Cars in Gran Turismo 7
The GR.3 category of racing cars in Gran Turismo 7 is the equivalent of the real-life FIA GT3 class in which racing versions of the world’s best sports cars compete, such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and BMW. However, Polyphony Digital’s definition of the GR.3 class also includes GT500 models, so the choice is even more varied.
Check out the list below for some of our favorite picks in the PP700 GT3(Gr.3) category:
- Dodge Viper SRT GT3-R ’15
- Peugeot RCZ GR3 ’15
- Mercedes SLS AMG ’11
- Porsche 911 RSR ’17
- McLaren 650S GT3 ’15
- Subaru BRZ GT300 ’21
- Nissan GT-R GT500 ’99
These were some of our favorite Gr.3 models, but feel free to experiment with other compatible models that can also be adapted to this class through slight tuning. See you on the track!
