Grave Dust is currently one of the most important resources in the game and serves as a reagent to create powerful magical items and consumables that will greatly work with your weapon(s) and gear and help you prevail against your enemies. In this guide, we’ll cover the best locations to get Grave Dust in V Rising.
Where to Find Grave Dust in V Rising?
Grave Dust can (luckily) be found in a lot of places in the open world. You usually get it by:
- Killing Undead Enemies
- Rummaging through containers in graveyards
Early on, you will mostly be farming for Grave Dust because you do not have the Grinder or Tomb in your Castle, so take notes on all cemeteries that you find as you roam the open world. See the below screenshot:
On the left side of the image, you’ll see the Church of the Infested which is far up north, northeast from Dunley Farmlands. On the right side of the image, you can see three graveyards around Farbane Woods – these are:
- Forgotten Cemetery in the north
- Desecrated Graveyard in the west
- Infested Graveyard in the east
How to Craft Grave Dust in V Rising?
Once you progress through the game enough, you will be able to build a Tomb and/or a Grinder.
With the Grinder (located in Production and Refinement within the menu) you can craft your very own, domestic™, homegrown™, organic™ Grave Dust. You need to following reagents/materials to make a Grinder:
- Eight Planks (make them in the Sawmill)
- Four Copper Ingots (here’s where to find the Copper Ore and how to craft Copper Ingots)
- Four Whetstones
After placing your Grinder, you just need to input 100 Bones in order to get one Grave Dust.
Lastly, you can make a Tomb by using:
- 80 Stones
- 20 Bones
And then you need - 12 Mourning Lilies to initiate a Ghoul Spawn (You can find Lilies in graveyards)
It’s important to mention that you need to defeat Goreswine the Ravager (level 27) in order to be able to craft a Tomb. It’s possible to locate him with the Blood Altar. Happy grinding!
