Blackout is here, bringing battle royale and the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops clashing together in the biggest, most intense mode that the Call of Duty series has seen to date. If you want to be the best, and survive to be the last person standing, then you’re going to need to make sure you’re prepared, which means learning the best Perks in Blackout. To help you out, we’ll go over some of the best perks in Blackout that you should try out the next time you’re playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Best Perks for Blackout
Having a great set of perks in Blackout can be the difference between life and death. While there are a multitude of great perks available, some seem to stand out above the rest. Now, the perks that we’ve listed here in this article aren’t necessarily the best in the game when you look at stats, but they have proven to be some of the most useful perks that we’ve found.
Outlander
If you’re a player that enjoys skirting the lines and sticking to the outer edge of the circle, then having a perk like Outlander on your side can be very beneficial. Not only does it increase your speed when you use it, but it also reduces the overall damage that you take from the circle, giving you plenty of time to sneak your way up behind unsuspecting enemies.
Medic
Healing has changed up a bit in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and gone are the days of standing around regenerating health. Instead, you’ll need to find items like bandages and first aid kits. The Medic perk allows you to heal yourself and your teammates much quicker than you normally would. It will also reward anyone that you revive with additional health—when it’s active.
Stimulant
One of our favorite perks to run, Stimulant raises your base health by 100 points when activated. This means you can take more damage from both enemy fire and the circle and will extend the amount of time that you can stay alive, getting you ever closer to that sweet, sweet victory dance.
Paranoia
If you’re the type of person who likes knowing when someone is watching you, then the Paranoia perk is something you’ll want to consider. The perk grants the player an audible alert when they are being targeted by someone who is aiming down sights. Of course, the bad thing here, is you’ll need to activate the perk for the alert, but if you’re making your way across large, open spaces, then this perk can come in very handy.
These are just some of the most useful perks that we’ve found while playing Blackout. Others might work better for you depending on your playstyle.
