Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is only a few days away. It’s a pretty hefty expansion with a large install. While the game doesn’t go live for players until June 30, 2022, pre-loading has become a very popular way for fans to be good to go as soon as it launches. Can you preload Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak? We have the answer for you.
Can You Preload Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak DLC? – Answered
The short answer is yes, you can preload Sunbreak on Nintendo Switch. It’s a 13GB update to the game that will go live at the same time. Even if you don’t purchase Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak you will be asked to update your game accordingly. However, if you don’t purchase the Sunbreak expansion right away, you’ll already have it installed with this new update. So whenever you do get around to purchasing it, there won’t be an additional install.
While it sucks you won’t be able to have it installed and ready to go on PC for launch, everyone is in the same boat. If your internet is slow or it takes you a long time to download, there isn’t a way to try and get ahead of that. Unfortunately, you’re just going to have to wait it out once the update goes live. It’s not a great situation, but it’s one that we will all have to deal with.
Get ready for the 13GB update when Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak launches. It’s going to take some time, but then it will be smooth sailing from here on out (hopefully).
