No Rest for the Wicked is here in early access and it’s a mix of marvel and frustration. While its visuals are stunning to see, there are some technical problems that hinder, and even block players from enjoying this ARPG in all of its glory—one of which is the control options. How To Rebind Controls in No Rest for the Wicked
Customization plays a huge part in any game. Even the simplest form of customization, such as rebinding controls, poses to be one of the most necessary and helpful tools out there. This is especially important for ARPG titles as complex, vast, and intricate as No Rest for the Wicked. These features offer comfortable ways to enjoy games and provide players with accessible options to make their experience worth the time and effort.
Unfortunately for No Rest for the Wicked, you CANNOT rebind controls in the settings, right now. This means players will have to enjoy the game with preset mouse and keyboard and controller layouts. While there are two layout options for mouse and keyboard, controller only has one preset layout.
The developers of No Rest for the Wicked, Moon Studios, have already addressed this issue, as well as many others in a Steam news post and Twitter post. The company stated that it was “closely monitoring for all issues” and that it was already working on fixing them.
While this rocky start has definitely left a bad impression on some players, it’s only the start for No Rest for the Wicked as it continues to iron out all of its kinks and creases for launch. As this is an early access version of the game, which is supposed to be tested and experimented with, there’s no doubt that all of the gameplay and technical issues should be resolved soon enough and things will look a lot brighter.
