Diablo 4’s world is massive, and even when using mounts and Waypoints it can take a while to get where you need to go. If you’ve ever been left in the dust by a friend or party and have desperately tried catching up to them to no avail, I might have just the guide for you.
How to Teleport to Party Members in Diablo 4
If you’ve partied up with any number of players, did you know you can teleport straight to them by traveling to any major city and finding their portals next to the Waypoint? “Major cities,” in this context, are those with fortress-style icons on the overworld map, or the ones you automatically fast travel to by pressing “T” (or down on the D-pad, on controller).

If a member of your party is halfway across the map, or busy exploring a dungeon, this feature is essential for reaching them quickly. Honestly, I wish I had personally known of it sooner – there even used to be a “teleport to party member” function in the beta, but I guess this is the next best thing.
Use Party Member Teleports to Reach New Areas
If you want to get cute with it, you can use the party member portals to reach new areas, dungeons, and even Waypoints before you’ve explored them yourself. This can be useful for players trying to get a leg-up on map exploration, or Renown farming.
Since Blizzard have been, until now, pretty rapidly responding to feedback, I’m crossing my fingers that there will be easier ways to group with party members than.. taking two portals back-to-back. Quality of life is certainly something Diablo 4 wants for.
