If you’ve played any amount of Pokemon GO, you’ve likely seen Genesect (Shock Drive) lurking as a Raid boss. But if you catch it (or not), you might be wondering if you can trade Genesect in Pokemon GO? Or is it your permanent companion? Your question answered.
Can You Trade Genesect in Pokemon GO? – Answered
It’s May, and we’ve got quite a full raid schedule ahead of us. But right now, the Pokemon in the spotlight is Genesect (Shock Drive). This ancient life Pokemon is excellent in both Great and Ultra League in all its forms, but Shock Drive is undoubtedly the best. And for that reason, it’s a great idea to get it on your team.
But can you trade for Genesect? Or are you stuck trying to catch it yourself?
The answer is, unfortunately, no. You can’t trade Genesect in any of its forms in Pokemon GO. There were rumors that Genesect would become tradeable once all its forms were released, but this isn’t the case. Nor will you be able to trade for it through Pokemon Home.
