Honkai: Star Rail’s release has been immensely successful. Bringing Honkai/Genshin fans, turn-based combat enjoyers, gacha addicts, and weebs in general together, the game has received quite a following during its first two days of existence. Not that big of a surprise considering how the game easily surpassed its five million pre-registering players goal. That number is just nuts, even considering people with multiple accounts.
And being the generous company they are, HoYoverse has announced that aside from the 80 free rolls that players can currently get by playing Star Rail, they will also get 10 more Star Rail Special Passes for free on April 30th with the upcoming Departure Festival. The announcement was made by Liu Wei, founder, and CEO of Hoyoverse.
Living up to the Hype Train
The game was later updated with a banner containing information on what the Departure Festival is supposed to be. The message reads as below:
“Dear Trailblazers,
May the stars be with you on this journey. We are grateful for your support in this boundless voyage with Honkai: Star Rail. Thanks to you, we have achieved fantastic results in topping the charts of many countries and regions.
The Express Crew would like to invite you to the Honkai: Star Rail Departure Festival at 19:30 (UTC -8) on 2023/04/30 for a Stellaris Symphony performed solely for you. We will also issue Star Rail Special Pass x10 to you on the day of the festival.
Once again, thank you for your continuous support and encouragement.
May this journey lead us starward.”

The passes will likely be sent via in-game email or another event banner in the like of the Daily Check-in. The Symphony in question will most likely receive a dedicated stream announced a few hours beforehand, so keep your eyes open for Star Rail’s official accounts on social media!
