If you’ve been frothing for the Season of the Dawn to come out in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, we’ve got good news for you. The wait is practically almost over – the new season will launch tomorrow on December 10. However, there’s going to be a designated Destiny 2 reset time when the servers are going to go down for maintenance in advance. Here’s when that’s going to happen.
Destiny 2 Reset Time for Season of Dawn – When Does It Go Down
As we’ve previously reported, the Season of Dawn is going to go live at 1PM EST on December 10. You’ll also be able to purchase it from the Eververse Store in-game once that’s happened, so long as you’ve got the requisite 1000 silver currency to do so. Once you’ve sorted that out, you should be able to jump into all the action that the latest, time-traveling shenanigans are going to afford you as a Guardian.
However, the game will be unplayable once the reset for the Season of Dawn kicks into schedule. There’s going to be a maintenance period from 11AM EST which is going to kick in as the Destiny 2 reset time for the new content, and this is likely going to last until the game comes back up as per Bungie’s directive at the designated launch time. The servers will be taken offline on every platform before everything gets bundled up and launched at 1PM EST after the relevant update has been applied.
Now that you know what the Destiny 2 reset time is, you might like to note that a bunch of stuff will be unavailable once said reset is done. We’re talking about various rewards from the current season, the Vex Offensive challenge, seasonal artifacts, and Vex components and the like. We have a full list here if you like.
