Jumping into an RPG with friends sounds like a fantastic time, and Granblue Fantasy: Relink sure does have a large number of cast members. Can you play this game with friends, and if so, what can you do?

Surprisingly enough, you can jump into Granblue Fantasy: Relink and play through various quests in co-op mode. While there may not be any PVP features or anything that will let you battle it out with your friends, the fact that you can enjoy these missions with a few friends is incredibly nice.

If you’re hoping to embark on a quest with your friends, you’ll just need to post it — similar to games like Monster Hunter — and up to 4 players can embark on an adventure together to clear out a quest. Once the quest has been finished, you’ll just need to rally up the troops once more and head out on another adventure. It’s quick and, for the most part, painless to do this.

To start up an online session, head to the Quest Counter. Select a Quest you’d like to embark on, and speak with the receptionist. As long as you have an active PS+ Subscription, you can select the option to Play Online, where your friends can join you on your adventures. If you do not have an active PS+ subscription, you cannot play this particular portion of the game. No couch co-op option is available, so all multiplayer functions are online only for this game.

If you’re playing on Steam, you don’t need to worry about paying for an online subscription to play with friends. Follow the steps listed above, and you’ll be ready to embark.

Make sure that you’re keeping an eye on our Granblue Fantasy: Relink section below to learn more about the game, and see how long it will take you to beat the game. The multiplayer sections make the game even more exciting than ever, so prepare for action.
