PC Players won’t have to wait much longer to try out No Rest For the Wicked, as the upcoming ARPG is all set to launch on Steam in early access. Naturally, many interested gamers have been wondering if the upcoming release will have multiplayer, and if so, to what extent.
Does No Rest For the Wicked Have Multiplayer Mode?
If someone joins the game on day one of early access, there won’t be any co-op multiplayer mode to enjoy. While Early Access begins on April 18, those opting to join the bandwagon on the first day will have to be content with a single-player experience. This could be a tad disappointing for some, but there’s great news.
Will No Rest For the Wicked Get Co-Op Multiplayer?
While the early access title won’t allow you to play with your friends at launch, the feature is going to be introduced very soon. Developer Moon Studios has shared a roadmap of all the major features that are going to be added via major updates.
Co-op multiplayer is likely to become the first vital addition per the existing roadmap. It’s going to be part of Update 1, so players could get the option to play co-op very soon. The date for the update hasn’t been announced yet, so it’s best to wait for the actual release.
So far, a new story content titled “The Breaches” has also been announced. This will be part of the second update. Of course, it’s more than likely that Moon Studios will be introducing plenty of additional content during the early access phase.
No Rest For the Wicked will also come to consoles eventually, but a date hasn’t been announced yet. It’s likely going to happen when the early access on PC ends, and the game gets a full launch. However, Moon Studios has decided to ditch the old-gen consoles of both PlayStation and Xbox.
