Can You Free Roam In Persona 5 Tactica?

Unfortunately, your time spent with the Phantom Thieves will be delegated to the battlefield and the Metaverse’s version of Le Blanc, as there is no form of free roam outside of battles. While this may be slightly disappointing to those who loved to explore the world laid out before them in the previous RPG titles, it’s understandable within the context of the story.

With the Phantom Thieves being sucked into the Metaverse of all places, the world around them is swamped with a variety of monsters, creatures, and no-good creeps that are looking to put an end to our party. Heading out into the world as it stands would be an almost instant defeat, so staying within the walls of Le Blanc is the only means of ensuring that our party can remain safe and sound within this new world.

While exploring the world is a pivotal point of the mainline games, it seems that this condensed world is a bit too dangerous for the crew. It’s a shame because the colorful and adorable would be quite exciting to explore, but you’ll still have the option to somewhat free-roam throughout the maps during battle. Just know that you won’t be able to step foot outside of the Cafè during the down times.

No matter if this is your first entry into the world of Persona, or you’ve been all in on all of the Persona 5 spin-offs, be sure to keep your eyes on our Persona 5 Tactica section below to get your hands on plenty of helpful tips and tricks to make sure that you’re ready for the tactical gameplay that awaits you ahead.
