Sometimes, getting into a new location requires a little bit of travel. For fans eager to make their way into the lands of Baghdad, a little flight to the lands of New Zealand may be in order, if you’re planning on playing Assassins Creed Mirage on your Xbox console of choice. This unique little exploit gives gamers the chance to get into their newly purchased digital game hours before other players, so it’s worth giving a try. However, should you save your frequent flier miles for another release, or will you be able to redeem your prizes early?
Can You Use The New Zealand Trick To Play Assassins Creed Mirage Early?
It seems like those hoping to make their way into the streets of Baghdad will need to wait for the game to unlock, as a trip to New Zealand does not appear to work for this particular game. I tried it myself with my Xbox Series X and was greeted by the all-too-familiar “Please Wait” screen. As it stands, there’s currently no available way to enter Assassins Creed Mirage early.
However, it does pay to note that the release date was moved up, so technically, we’re getting to play a week early. I’ll keep telling myself that as the icon sits on my home screen, just begging to be opened up and played. As a return to the original form of the Assassins Creed series, I’m eager to jump in and see if it plays as well as its predecessors and get my stealth on like I did with Altaïr back in the day.
Until we can enter into this new world, however, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on our Assassins Creed Mirage section below to get your fill of pre-release and post-release content. No matter if you want to learn about how Mirage came to be from the ashes of DLC, or you’re just looking to find out more about the game, we’ve got you covered.
