If you’ve stumbled across Beren while exploring the northernmost portions of the map in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ve likely got yourself a brand new quest — Claw Them Into Shape. You’re tasked with finding an eager swordsman, but where are they found?
Where To Find A Swordsman For Claw Them Into Shape Quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
You’re about to have quite the hike before you, as you’ll need to head back to the Capital city of Vernworth to find a swordsman who is eager enough to jump into battle for Beren. There are a few ways that you can get back here quickly if you don’t feel like trudging a much-worn path:
- Use the Oxcart in the city of Melve to return to Vernworth
- Use a Ferrystone if you’ve unlocked the Vernworth Portcrystal
Once you return to the town, head toward the Vocation Guild. If you’ve used a Portcrystal, you’ll likely find a young man by the name of Humphrey will approach you and take notice of your actions and deeds. He’ll pledge his alliance to Beren, and you’ll have a new swordsman for the Beastren commander. Humphrey will make his way to Beren on his own, but you may still have a few things to do for this quest — such as procuring three swords.
Where To Get 3 Swords For Beren in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Obtaining three swords is the easiest part of the quest by far, as you’ll just need to purchase a few cheap weapons from Roderick’s Smithy in Vernworth. If you’ve been squirreling away the items that you’ve found on your adventures in your Storage, you may already have a few weapons that you’re willing to pass on for a greater cause. Get three of them however you need, and head back to Beren.
If you return to the campsite during the day, Beren may not be here. Use the campground right up the road from his location, sleep until night, and return to speak with him and complete this portion of the quest. You’ll have just a few more steps until you can officially cross this quest off and add it to your list of completed missions.
