Far Cry 5 has all kinds of quests and optional side missions for players to find and complete throughout Hope County. If you’re looking for something a little more off-the-rails than usual, you’ll want to find a guy named Larry, who will task you with a set of side missions to complete. Completing these missions will reward you with the Magnopulser in Far Cry 5. However, before you can get your hands on the Magnopulser, you’re going to need to know how to find all of the Alien Objects in Far Cry 5.
How to Find Larry
The first step to starting this questline and getting yourself the Magnopulser is to find Larry. The easiest way to find him is to locate the Parker Laboratories area in John Seed’s region. To easily spot it, head west from Fall’s End and you should stumble across the lab.
Once you find Larry, you’ll start the ‘Free Larry’ side quest. To save him you’ll have to disable a set of three generators in the area that have him locked in an electrical field. They’re marked on your map, so they shouldn’t be hard to find. If you’re still having trouble, follow the cables on the ground to locate them.
Once you’ve freed Larry, chat with him to earn another set of tasks. You’ll need to complete the following to get the Magnopulser:
- Free Larry
- The Hero’s Journey
- Close Encounters
- Out of This World
All of the quests are fairly straightforward, at least until you get to Close Encounters, where you’ll need to find four Alien Objects hidden in a crop circle.
All Alien Object Locations
To find all of the Alien Objects, head to the crop circle marked on your map. Once here, you’ll have to search the circle to find the Alien Objects you need to find.
The first Alien Object can be found near a group of turkeys in one of the cleared areas. Scare the turkeys away and grab the Alien Object they left behind.
To find the second Alien Object, look out for a barking dog. He should be somewhere along the edge of the field. Move close to the dog and chase after it to cause it to drop the second Alien Object.
The third Alien Object is found at the top of the large silo in Bradbury Farm. Climb up the smaller silos and jump up over the rooftop to reach a small platform on the opposite side. Grab the Alien Object before continuing.
Finally, the last Alien Object that you need to find is found in the center of a cultist camp that you can find inside of the crop circle.
Once you’ve found all of the Alien Objects, make sure the other missions are complete and you will receive the Magnopulser. It can be found in the Special Weapons tab at the store, so head to the nearest one and equip it.
