Where to Get The Island Alligator Mount in FFXIV
This alligator can be yours if you buy it from the Horrendous Hoarder seller in Island Sanctuary (X12.6, Y28.4) for the salty price of 35000 Seafarer’s Cowries. It will only be available for purchase once you reach Sanctuary Rank 12. This will take a long time farming and profiting on your island, but riding a giant alligator is a unique experience, especially if you’re a Lalafell.

It tops up even the previous most expensive Island mount, the Garlond GL-II, which requires 24000 Seafarer’s Cowries to get, aside from reaching Sanctuary Rank 10. If you took your time for that one, prepare yourself for a whole new season of island shenanigans.
